The best testers are more than just testers. It takes more than just techincal understanding to test software. The best testers have a vast array of “soft skills” and a deep understanding of the human condition.
Truly effective testing should be exploratory and investigative. We owe it to ourselves and to our clients to provide more than factory method checking.
A (very) extended analogy between a team-building film making exercise at Assurity’s annual conference and the benefits of adopting agile methodologies in software development.
